Actualités / Trois hôtels mexicains de Fiesta Americana Travelty pourront désormais arborer la distinction Clef Verte, qui récompense l'excellence en matière de gestion durable.
Properties received the award from Finn Bolding, International Director of Green Key.

Les propriétés ont reçu le prix de la part de Finn Bolding, directeur international de Green Key, qui s'est rendu au Mexique pour découvrir de première main les progrès de ce programme géré par Pronatura México.
The hotels that received this distinction are Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancún, Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancún, and Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo, all part of Grupo Posadas, a leading hospitality and services company in Mexico. These properties were recognized for their strong commitment to environmental stewardship.
Green Key is an international program that acknowledges hotels, convention centers, camps, and restaurants that have achieved excellence in sustainable operations. The distinction is granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a nonprofit organization based in Denmark, for which Pronatura México serves as the exclusive operator in the country.
After launching in 2015 with three hotels, the program now includes nine tourism establishments in 2017 that may carry the Green Key distinction.
Worldwide, more than 2,600 establishments in 55 countries have earned this recognition, all of which must meet 132 strict international criteria across 13 categories: Environmental Management, Staff Involvement, Guest Information, Water, Cleaning and Hygiene, Waste, Energy, Food and Beverage, Indoor Environment, Parks and Parking Areas, Social Responsibility, Green Activities, and Administration.
The distinction was presented by Finn Bolding, International Director of Green Key, to Enrique Calderón, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Grupo Posadas, who stated: “We are very proud to receive this recognition, which reaffirms that Posadas’ commitment is not only to our guests, but also to the environment.”
